Rosenberg Herald, May 1950: Funeral services for Mrs. Victoria Bohacek, age 59, were held from the Chapel of the Triska Funeral Home Tuesday, May 2, at 9 a.m. Requiem high mass was said at the Beasley Catholic Church at 9:30 a.m., with Rev. John Kukral officiating. Mrs. Bohacek was born in Bryan in 1890 to Mr. and Mrs. Frank Florian. At the age of 7 years, she moved with her parents to Houston. In 1911, she married Joseph Bohacek and they moved to Beasley where they settled on a farm for 39 years. She is survived by five sons, Frank of East Bernard, Johnnie, Willie, George, and Joe of Beasley; one daughter, Mrs. E. Allen of Tucson, Arizona; stepmother, Mrs. Annie Florian of Houston; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Gottlob of Houston, Mrs. L.W. Allen of Houston; eight brothers, Frank Florian of LaMarque, Charlie and Joe Florian of Houston, Bill Florian of Pasadena, Eddie Florian of Port Arthur, August Florian of Beaumont, Raymond Florian of California, and Mike Florian of Orchard. Pallbearers were her sons, Frank, Johnnie, Willie, George, and Joe. Interment was made in the Beasley Catholic Cemetery, with the Triska Funeral Home directing.
