Grace Kasper daughter of Anton and Pauline Krenek.Grace Krenek married Edmund Kasper in 1944. Grace Kasper Services Held Nov. 13 Grace Kasper, 84, of Schulenburg, died Nov. 11 at Schulenburg Regency Nursing Center. Grace was born July 1, 1923 in Engle to Anton Krenek and Pauline Krenek. She attended school at Engle School and graduated from Schulenburg High School in 1940. She married Edmund Kasper in Nov. 1944 at St. Rose. They met while both were employed by I.W. Lauterstein. Her and her husband Edmund opened Kasper's Dept. Store in April of 1949. She was active in the store until they closed the doors in July 1997. She was a 50 year pin member of the Catholic Daughters of America. A rosary was held Nov. 12 at 7 p.m. at Schwenke-Baugmarten Funeral Home with Father Tom Kosler officiating. Funeral Services were held Nov. 13 at 10 a.m. at St. Rose Church in Schulenburg with Father Tim Kosler and Father John Buy officiating. Interment followed at St. Michael Cemetery in Weimar. Pallbearers were: grandson, John Heger; grandson-in-law, Roy Ulrich; great grandsons, Cole Ulrich, McCall Ulrich, Greyson Ulrich and Houston Heger; nephew, Jonathan Kalich. Honorary pallbearer was Gilbert Kutac. She is survived by daughter, Molly K. Heger and husband James Heger from Weimar; sister, Lillian Kalich from Schulenburg; brother, Charles Krenek from Flatonia; grandchildren, Jim Heger and Melanie Ulrich; greatgrandchildren, Cole Ulrich, McCall Ulrich, Greyson Ulrich and Houston Heger.
