Funeral services for June Grunden, 79, of Edgewood, are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 4, 2006, at the Edgewood Church of Christ with Mr. John Baker officiating. She passed away Sunday, October 1, 2006, in a Tyler hospital. June was born March 4, 1927, in Rotan, Texas, the daughter of Lenard C. Palmer and Lizzie Gruben Palmer. On March 6, 1976, June was married to Carlton T. Grunden in Anson, Texas. She was a bookkeeper for Mrs. Baird's Bakery in Dallas, retiring in 1980, after twenty-three years of service. She lived in Lancaster prior to moving to Edgewood in 1992. June enjoyed sewing, decorating and crafts and was a member of the Edgewood Church of Christ. Preceded in death by her parents.
