Wilhelm M. "William" Kruse was born July 25, 1847 in Heuthen, Eichsfeld, Thuringia, Germany to Johann Heinrich "Henry" Kruse 1821 – 1886 and Maria Franziska Diegmann 1823 – 1898. His baptism was October 25, 1847 in Sankt Nikolaus Kirche, Catholic Church, Heuthen, Germany. Wilhelm was about 4 years old when his parents Johannes and Maria Kruse came to Texas from Heuthen Germany and landed in Galveston on 17 April of 1851. They settled in Fredericksburg, Gillespie County, Texas. He married Katherine "Katy, Kate" Rosenbach 1856 – 1938. They got their licenses on May 8, 1876 in Fredericksburg, Gillespie Co, TX. they settled on a farm near Mason in Mason County, Texas and raised a large family of 10 children.John William died 22 November 22, 1928 in Brady, McCulloch,TX Children: Annie M.
