John William "Manie" Kruse was the son of Wilhelm M. "William" Kruse 1847 – 1928 and Katherine "Katy, Kate" Rosenbach 1856 – 1938. He married January 7, 1926 in Mason County, Texas to Veda Ruth Butler 1905 – 1979.They were members of the St Joseph's Catholic Church, Mason, TX They had eight children: Helen Marie Kruse William Kruse Theresa Kruse Dorman Ray (Buddy) Kruse Bonnie Mae Kruse Martha Pearlene Kruse John William Kruse Lola Faye Kruse
