Antonia Kresak Hall, daughter of Albert and Barbara Kresak, was born May 29, 1899, in Planickz, Czechoslovakia. She came with her parents to America at an early age, settling near Plattsmouth, Neb. After a few years the family moved to near Ohiowa, Neb., where she received the beginning years of her school education. Later the family removed to near Milligan, where she finished high school. The family then moved eight miles east of Milligan, where she grew to womanhood. April 10, 1923, she was united in marriage to Earl W. Hall of Fairmont. The happy reunion was blessed with two sons, Ernest and Leonard. She suddenly passed away Friday evening, July 25, 1947, at the age of 48 years, 1 month and 27 days to eternal rest, which she rightfully earned. Left to mourn her untimely death are her bereaved husband, Earl and two sons, Ernest and Leonard at home; her aged mother, Mrs. Barbara Kresak; three sisters, Mrs. Josie Spicka and Mrs. Helen Kovanda of Friend and Mrs. Mary Odvody of Tobias; three brothers, James and Charles of Western and lEmer of Tobias, five nieces and six nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father and two sisters. She was a loving wife and mother, patient and understanding, always willing to lend a guiding hand. Her place is vacant and can never be filled. Services were held at the Farmer Funeral Home at 2:30 Monday with Rev. K. O. Zavadil of Wilber in charge.
