Bio

Thelmer O. Taylor, 58, of Eureka, California, died December 20, 1971 in Eureka. He was born July 6, 1913 in Idabel, Oklahoma. He was a resident of California for 20 years, moving there from Idabel. He was a timber worker. Survivors included two sons, Donald of Houston, Texas, and Winfred of Mansfield, Texas; one daughter, Elaine of Eureka; two brothers, Arthur of Broken Bow, Oklahoma, and Fred of Idabel; four sisters, Gertie Pennington of Lawton, Oklahoma, Lillie Menike of Houston, Texas, Mabel Billingsley of Idabel, and Velma Cannady of Wright City, Oklahoma; and seven grandchildren. Funeral services were scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Monday, December 24, in the Idabel Norwood-Welch Funeral Chapel. Arrangements and burial in the Forest Hill cemetery were under direction of Norwood-Welch Funeral Home.
