The parents of Daye were John Maury & Laura Mae (Stevenson) Logan. Some of his siblings were: Marvin Calhoun 1897 – 1941 Malvern H 1898 – 1967 Lon Maury 1903 – 1986 Mattie Mae 1905 – 1995 Beulah 1907 – 1988 William Herschel 1910 – 1985 Oran Joseph 1918 – 2002 He was married Leola Belle Bruton on Feb. 1, 1928, in Graham, TX. On April 10, 1930, they lived on a farm in Precinct 3, Jack Co, TX. Logan, age 29, made his living farming. Leola, age 22, had given birth to their son, D.S., age 9 months. Daye was 36 years old when he died in Graham, TX from a Ruptured Gastric Ulcer resulting from a gastric ulcer surgical operation.
