Bio
Venita Manley, 93, passed away Monday, Oct. 19, 2009, at a Fort Worth hospital. Service: 10 a.m. Thursday in Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Chapel, William Eudy officiating. Burial will follow in Graford Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. She was born in Jack County, the daughter of John and Laura Stevenson Logan. She married V.H. Manley in 1935 in Oklahoma. She was a longtime member of Graford Church of Christ and was currently a member of Burleson Church of Christ. She loved sewing, quilting and crocheting. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1995, parents, six brothers and two sisters. Survivors: Her son and daughter-in-law, Herbert Maurice and Laura Manley of Graford; daughters and sons-in-law, Sue and Russell Hollins of Fort Worth, Linda and Charles Talley of Mineral Wells; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; brother and sister-in-law, Johnny and Annie Logan of Graham; and sister-in-law, Margie Logan of Graham.
