RITES SET MONDAY FOR SETH MILLS, 96 Funeral services for 96-year-old Seth L. Mills will be held in Ballard Chapel Monday at 2:30 p.m. Mills, one of New Mexico's oldest pioneers, moved to Eddy (now Carlsbad) in 1893 and operated ranches in New Mexico and Texas until his retirement about 20 years ago. Dr. Austin H. Dillon, pastor of the First Methodist Church will officiate during the services. Burial will be in South Park Cemetery with Ballard Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers will be: Bryan Runyan, Hope; Buster Crockett, Hope; Zane Ray Wilburn, Artesia; Barney Mills, Roswell; Paul Brazel, Albuquerque; and Lloyd Treat, Hope.
