Lettie Emily Mills daughter of Jacob Mills AR and Edith Lewis Mills AR Wife of Thomas Humphrey Dickenson In 1864 at the height of the fighting in the Civil War, Lettie a child of six years, stood in the door way of her home and watched with horror as a group of Yankee soldiers dragged her father and older brother out in the front yard and killed them both.
