John Joseph Sedlacek, 76, of Hartselle, passed away August 21, 2010, at Hartselle Medical Center. He was born April 9, 1934, in Nebraska to John Sedlacek and Mary Severyn Sedlacek. He served in the United States Army. He is survived by his wife, Katie G. Sedlacek; two sons, Robert (Bob) Sedlacek of Colo. and Alan Sedlacek of Tenn.; one daughter, Shelia (Gary) Lorance of Hartselle; two grandchildren, Heather Lorance and Judd (Kristen) Lorance; and three great-grandchildren, Elli Lorance, Brinten Barclay and Blake Lorance. Published in the Decatur Daily on August 22, 2010
