Daughter of John E. and Mary J. Sedlacek. Secretary in Omaha Public Schools, 1963-75. Widow of Rev. K. Roy Bailey. Served with him at Omaha's First, Lefler, Rockbrook and Olive Crest United Methodist Churches. Along with her husband established Aldersgate United Methodist as a new church in Bellevue. Mrs. Bailey and her late husband were ambassadors with Friendship Force to Newcastle, England. They were beloved members of the Cornhusker chapter of Parents and Friends of Lesbians and Gays in Lincoln. She was preceded in death by her sister Marcie Bauman, Richland and her son, Wesley Bailey, Chicago. Memorial service: 11 a.m. Saturday (2/14/09), Saint Paul United Methodist Church, 1144 M St., Lincoln. Memorials to Saint Paul United Methodist Church Adult Education Program.
