Clarence Liese, 88, of Georgetown, Texas passed on May 2, 2010 in Georgetown. Clarence was born on April 9, 1922 in Georgetown. On November 27, 1949 he married Laverne Schneider in Walburg, Texas. He is survived by his wife of sixty years, Laverne Schneider Liese of Georgetown, his daughters, Elaine (Jacque) Sotello of Georgetown, Katherine (Daryl) Eschberger of Taylor, Texas and his grandchildren; Cullen Eschberger of Taylor, Jenna (Greg) Anderson of San Marcos, Tx, and Preston Eschberger of Georgetown. He also leaves behind his brother, Milton (Betty) Liese of Georgetown and a sister Grace Bulgerin and husband Carl Lidell of Georgetown. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Alvin Liese. Clarence was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church were he served on the Church Council for a number of years. He loved farming, working on farm equipment, inventing things and he loved his cattle. He enjoyed riding his four wheeler and visiting his neighbors and friends. Above all, he liked to make people smile. He never wanted people to take care of him yet he was always ready to help others. Honored to serve as pallbearers are: Cullen Eschberger, Preston Eschberger, Jon Liese, Josh Drury, Matt Drury and Dr. T.J. Bulgerin. Funeral Services will be held at St. Peter Lutheran Church at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, May 5, 2010 with Mr. Liese being in state at the Church at 11:00 A.M. . Pastor Russell Campbell will officiate at the service. Memorials may be made in his name to St. Peter Lutheran Church, Walburg.
