Myers Dies While On Visit Here A tragic end to what was to have been a vacation trip to Michigan was written in the death here last Friday morning at 8 o'clock of B.E. Myers, 80, a retired farmer of Ackerly, Borden Co., and a former resident of Hamilton. Mr. Myers was en route to Michigan with his wife and two daughters for a visit and stopped in Hamilton to visit a son, Cecil Myers, and family. He died at the farm home of his son near town. Funeral services were conducted at the Church of Christ Saturday afternoon by Elder O.O.O. Newton of Pottsville, with John M. Burkhart, minister of the local chuch leading the song service. Burial was in Oakwood Cemetery in charge of Williams and Riley. Mr. Myers was born Sept. 15, 1860 in Alabama. He left Hamilton in 1934 to move to Ackerly. Besides the widow, four sons and two daughters survive.
