Bio

Robert Henry Moak, 79, passed away Thursday, Aug. 12, 2010, in Fort Worth. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Rosemound Cemetery. Visitation will be 2 to 3:30 p.m. Sunday at Winscott Road Funeral Home, 1001 Winscott Rd., Benbrook. Bob was born in Mexia, Texas. He was a 1949 graduate of Waco Tech High School and a graduate of Texas A&M. Bob served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1950 to 1954, and served in Korea for 18 months. He was a registered civil engineer for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, chief of project operations, 1971 to 1991. Survivors are his wife of 57 years, Patsy Moak; son, Bill Moak and wife, Terri, of Benbrook; grandchildren, Keith and Kimberly Moak; sisters, Helen Reimer, Norma Fulcher, and Sheri Bailey and husband, Don; numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends; and his dog, Maggie.
