Bio

Bill R. Blagg, 70 of 1220 Duncan died today at Westgate Hospital. He was born August 2, 1914, in Cleburne and married Geneva Norris, February 4, 1933 in Marietta, Oklahoma. He was a retired farrier and blacksmith and was a Baptist. Service will be at 2pm, Wednesday at Jack Schmitz & Son Funeral Chapel with Rev. Jim Angel officiating. Burial will be in Trinity Cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Geneva: two sons, B. R. Blagg of Lake Dallas and Doyle Blagg of Aubrey: five sisters, Eunice Sparks of Pilot Point, Mary Jane Ashmore of Greenville, Clara Norris, Alice Pockrus, and Pauline Miller, all of Denton: six grandchildren and one great grandchild. The family will be at the funeral home tonight for visitation. Denton Record Chronicle, September 25, 1984.
