Bio

The Banner-Press (David City, Nebraska) 19 Jul 1962, Thu Page 16 Among the many attending the funeral of Raymond Novak, 58, at Wahoo on Saturday afternoon, were the Novak brothers of Abie, Mrs. Charles F. Novak and Elmer, and Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Coufal. The funeral was held from the Presbyterian church in Wahoo and burial was in the Prague National cemetery. Mr. and Mrs. Novak were on a vacation trip and were overnight guests of Mr. and Mrs. William Cernolavek of Bozeman, Mont. On awakening in the morning, Mrs. Novak tried to awaken her husband with whom she slept, only to find that he was dead. He had died of heart failure some hours before, the physician called testified. His wife is the former Ludmila Junek, daughter of Mrs. Ben Junek and the late Mr. Junek of Malmo, formerly of Bruno. the Novaks farmed in this area for a number of years.
