Bio
He was the oldest of the 5 children left as orphans when both parents died. Rass was sent with his siblings to the orphanage in Corsicana. Rass was 15 when he returned to Rosston to live with the Raney brothers who were cousins to him. He was the only child that returned to live in Rosston. He married Fannie Wilson on Dec. 2, 1921. They were the parents of 6 children. (Published in Borger News-Herald, Thursday, April 2, 1964, Page 13) Funeral Services for R.B. Brandon of Rosston, father of two local women, are scheduled at 2 p.m. today from Gainesville Verne Keel Funeral Home. Burial will be in Rosston Cemetery. Brandon died Tuesday at his home in Rosston. Surviving are his wife and two sons of the home; three daughters, Mrs. Jim Ormsby of Borger, Mrs. Eva Adcock of Phillips, Miss Orene Brandon of Bartlesville, Okla.; and six grandchildren.
