Obituary (from the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow funeral home website): Mrs. Mary Ruth Duvall Walker, age 90, of McKinney, Texas passed away July 23, 2006, in McKinney. She was born June 26, 1916, in Collin County, Texas where she resided all of her life. Mrs. Walker was a homemaker and a member of the Waddill Street Baptist Church in McKinney. She was married to Claude Walker who preceded her in death in December of 1992. She is survived by her daughter, Claudette Walker Carrell and husband, W. A. Carrell of Allen, Texas; granddaughter, Claudia Ann Sadler of Allen; great grandchildren, Jesse Westmoreland of Allen and Allan Graves of Plano, Texas; sister, Oma Lita Powell of Plano; and numerous nieces, nephews and other loving relatives. She is preceded in death by her parents; 5 sisters and 2 brothers. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 26, 2006, at Ridgeview Memorial Park with Bro. Herbert Long and Bro. Jim Blazier officiating. Mrs. Walker will lie in repose on Tuesday, July 25, 2006, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
