Bio
Daughter of Milo and Ruth (Michaels) Black. She was a graduate of Schuyler High School and Platte College School of Nursing. She lived in Rogers prior to her marriage to Leonard E. Dobrusky on Aug. 22, 1959, in North Bend. She taught at rural schools in Colfax County. She moved to North Bend and was a nurse at Birchwood Manor for 20 years. She also was a hospice volunteer for four years for the Fremont Area Medical Center Hospice. She was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church, St. Anne's Altar Society and the Material Girls Quilting Club, all at North Bend. Survivors include: her husband, Leonard; a son, Michael Dobrusky of North Bend; two daughters and sons-in-law, Susan and Scott Haynes of Lincoln and Janice and Stephen Bellinghiere of Omaha; a sister, Rosa Smith of Corvallis, Ore.; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
