BALES, NAOMI ODLE - age 100 of North Knoxville, died Saturday, June 2, 2001 at Hillcrest North. She attended Loveland Baptist Church. Preceded in death by husband, Robert C. Bales, son, Robert P. Bales; granddaughter, Cathy Marie Bales; six brothers; and four sisters. Survivors: sons and daughter-in-law, Lynn Bales, Port Huron, Mich., William A. Bales, Kodak, Lloyd and Aileen Bales, Knoxville; daughters and son-in-law, Elizabeth Ann Winstead, Kodak, Norma Jean and Jesse McCarter, Knoxville; 19 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; 7 great-great grandchildren. Funeral service 7 p.m. Tuesday, Rose Mortuary Broadway Chapel, Rev. Oliver Wolfenbarger officiating. Family and friends meet at the Westview Cemetery in Jefferson City, Wednesday for interment services. Grandsons served as pallbearers.
