Bio

Jeff Franklin Dingler, 72, of the New York community died suddenly at 7 a.m. Saturday at his home. He was born in Henderson county and had lived in this county all his life. He was a retired farmer. Mr. Dingler is survived by two sons, Reagan Dingler and Grady Dingler, both of the New York community; one sister, Mrs. Jim Hogg Reynolds of Athens; one brother, Tobe Dingler of the New York community; five grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday in the New York Baptist church with the Rev. Lee Teakell and the Rev. A.W. Ludlow officiating. Burial will be in the new York cemetery with Carroll and Lehr in charge. From the archives of Henderson County Historical Commission
