Bio

Irene Kosch, 91, born June 5, 1919, in Platte County, passed away Wednesday, July 21, 2010, in Spokane, Wash. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Howard L. Kosch; sons, Bill Kosch, Brother, Sebastian (Bob), Ray Kosch, Ken Kosch; daughters, Sheila Logan, Rita Czapta, Tina Sawyer; 17 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Emil Veik; brother, Bill German; and infant son, Joseph. Irene was a member of Mount St. Michael Catholic Church since 1977. Vigil service will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, and Requiem Mass will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday, all at Mount St. Michael Catholic Church, 8500 N. Mount St., Michael Road in Spokane. Interment will be at Holy Rosary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Royal Park Care Center, 7411 N. Nevada, Spokane, Wash. 99208.
