Nola Jaeschke, 83, of Mason City died Tuesday, July 13, 2010, as the result of an automobile accident near Litchfield. Nola was born Jan. 4, 1927, in Buffalo County to Charles and Roxanna (Smith) Munster. On Aug. 17, 1946, she married Howard Jaeschke. Survivors are: daughters, Emma Jean Runyan and her husband, Lyle, of Sargent, Rebecca Haddix and her husband, James, of Sidney, Adele Miller and her husband, Larry, of Broken Bow and Laurie Sheets and her husband, Eldon, of Hastings; son, Jordan Jaeschke and his wife, Kira, of Kearney; 13 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren and a host of friends and relatives. She was educated at Prairie Bell grade school and graduated from Pleasanton High School in 1944. She and Howard farmed near Pleasanton before moving to a farm south of Mason City. They moved to Mason City in 1966. She enjoyed gardening, canning, fishing and bird watching. She was preceded in death by one sister and three great-grandchildren.
