Bio
George Gideon Northcutt was born in July 1864 in Winfield, Alabama (Marion County), the son of A.B. Northcutt and Nancy Caroline Dodson. George was married twice. By his first wife, Minnie Bradley, he had five children: Ernest, William Chester, Minnie Icey, Walter G., and Lillie J. His first wife died in 1899 and George married again. By his second wife, Eliza, he had three more children: Grady, Pearl and Pervy. He farmed for most of his life, but in his later years sold real estate and retired as a merchant. George's second wife, Eliza, died on February 1, 1925 and was buried in the Lexington Cemetery. George died in 1947 and was buried beside her.
