Billy Wayne Parker, 58 September 5, 1999 Billy Wayne Parker of Commerce died Tuesday, Aug. 31 at Hopkins County Memorial Hospital. Services were on Thursday, at 2 p.m. at Jones Memorial Chapel, Jones-Walker & Son Funeral Home. Burial was at Ridgeway Cemetery in Hopkins County. Rev. Roy Lee Dittmar officiated. Parker, self employed painter, was born in Ridgeway, Texas, on May 6, 1941 to Robert W. and Thelma Morgan Parker. Survivors include his mother Thelma Parker of Ridgeway and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceeded in death by his father Robert W. Parker on Nov. 1, 1997. Honorary pallbearers included Benny Parker, Bobby Parker, and Gene Williams.
