Bio

Vava Vera Fox Miller Doty, Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Ord Christian Church in Ord. The Rev. Greg Barnes will officiate. Burial will be at 2 p.m. in the Brewster Cemetery near Brewster. Vava was born Oct. 19, 1919, in Meadow Grove, to Eber and Mary (Rodgers) Fox. Vava married Franklin W. Miller Feb. 25, 1941, in Broken Bow. He died Oct. 23, 1977. She married James Daniel "Bill" Doty April 20, 1991. He died in August 2002. Survivors are: sons and daughters-in-law, Alvin and Karron Miller of Scotia, Allen and Sandy Miller of Elyria, and Howard and Linda Miller of Harvard; daughter-in-law Patricia Miller of Ord; stepdaughter, Delores Davis of Tyndall, S.D.; and 20 grandchildren and their spouses and a host of friends and rleatives.
