Bio

U. S. Crittenden Called By Death Funeral services were conducted for U. S. Crittenden, 64, Thursday at Friendship by the Rev. W. E. Pritchard, with Spry of Tuscumbia in charge of interment. Mr. Crittenden died Wednesday at his home, 1510 Fourth avenue, south. Surviving are the widow; two daughters, Mrs. Dora Clark, Decatur; Mrs. Mittie Walker, Danville; a son. Albert Crittenden, Decatur; and a step-daughter, Mrs. Ora Kilpatrick of Birmingham. Among those from out-of-town who attended the funeral were H. W. and P. B. Foster, of Garden City, brothers-in-law of the deceased. (The Decatur Daily, Fri 19 Apr 1935)
