Maryellen Wise, 52, of ‘Sterling, died Jan. 11, 2004, in Sterling. Visitation is Jan. 14 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Chaney-Reager Funeral Home. Funeral services are Jan. 15 at 1 p.m., also at the funeral home, with Father James Baird officiating. Burial will follow at the Fleming Cemetery. Miss Wise was born June 15,1951, in Sterling to Herman and charlotte (Volz) Wise., She attended Sterling schools. She was a member of St.Anthony Catholic Church, Royal Neighbors, and the VFW Auxiliary. She is survived by companion Gary Swedlund; mother Charlotte Woodmancy; son Dale Wise; brother Albert Wlse, all of Sterling; and several nieces; nephews and aunts, She was preceded in death by her father, Herman; and grandparents Frances and Albert Volz.
