Married Herman Edgar Wise Sept. 4, 1948, in Logan County, CO; 2nd, John Woodmancy. __________ Charlotte Joan Woodmancy, 85 of Sterling, was born Sept. 2, 1929 and died Tuesday, March 17, 2015 in Sterling. Visitation will be Sunday, March 22, 2015 from 2-4 p.m. at Chaney-Reager Funeral Home with Vigil Service and Recitation of the Rosary at 7 p.m. at Chaney-Reager. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, March 23, 2015 at 10 a.m. at the St. Anthony Catholic Church. Interment will follow at 2 p.m. at the Fleming Cemetery. She was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church, a past state president of War Mothers, member of Royal Neighbors, VFW Auxiliary, and past president of Immaculate Conception Circle. Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Maryellen Wise; husbands, Herman Wise and John Woodmancy; two brothers, John Volz and Paul Volz; sister, Rosemarie Volz; and two nephews Gerald and Cecil. Mrs. Woodmancy is survived by her son, Albert E. Wise of Sterling; grandsons, Dale Wise and wife Amy of Sterling and Phillip Wise and wife Crystal of Bushland, Texas; god-daughter, Dena Merithew of Chapman, Neb.; sister, Veronica McAtee of Aurora; two great grandchildren; two nieces, Frances and Cheryl; and nephew, Sidney.
