Published in The Carnegie Herald, Carnegie, Caddo Co., OK Wed., July 26, 1967 Heart Attack Is Fatal For Alfalfa Woman Mrs. Charley Graham, longtime resident of the Alfalfa community, died Monday night after suffering an apparent heart attack. Mrs. Graham had been suffering the past few weeks with blood clots in her leg. She became seriously ill about 11 p.m. Sunday and was brought to the Carnegie hospital where she died about 24 hours later. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Eakly Methodist church with Rev. Jess Haney and Rev. George Hohnbaum officiating. Burial will be in the Carnegie cemetery with Hartronft Funeral Home in charge. Madge Bigham was born January 28, 1913 to Mr. and Mrs. Boone Bigham at Ardmore, Okla. She was married to Charley Graham in 1933 at the Pleasant Valley church in Kiowa county near Mountain View and in 1936 they moved to the farm where they have resided since. One daughter, Karen Sue, was born to them. She was active in the Home Demonstration club work, was a member of the Eakly Women's Society of Christian Service and was a teacher in the Eakly Methodist Sunday School. She is survived by her husband of the home; one daughter, Mrs. Con Goodwin of Rush Springs; one granddaughter, 2-year-old Lorie Suzanna Goodwin; four brothers, Bill Bigham of Wichita Falls, C.R. Bigham of Ada, G.H. Bigham of Oklahoma City, and J.H. Bigham of Dill City; four sisters, Mrs. Maude Little of Rocky, Mrs. Ethel Gardner of Ardmore, Mrs. Seleta Hughes of Farwell, Texas, and Mrs. Corene Charisss of California, and other relatives.
