HAROLD KOZA Harold D. Koza, 73, of Dothan, Alabama, died December 16, 1994 at a hospital there. A funeral was Monday, December 19, 1994 at Byrd Funeral Home Chapel in Dothan with the Revs. Joe Johnson and David Jamison officiating. Burial was in Memory Hill Cemetery at Dothan. He was born November 20, 1921, at Bruno, Nebraska. He was a 20-year veteran of the U S Navy and served as a pilot during World War II and the Korean War. He retired from the military in 1963 and moved to Dothan. He worked for the Civil Service at Fort Rucker until retirement in 1977. He was a member of the American legion, VFW, LTA Association of the U.S Navy, Ed Buckhalter Chapter of Retired Officers Association, National TROA, U S Navy Silver Eagles and of Evergreen Presbyterian Church. Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Frances E. Koza of Dothan, daughters and son in law, Rebecca B. Koza of Baltimore and Karen Dee Koza and the Rev David Jamison of Savannah, Georgia, son and daughter in law Harold D Jr and Sheila C. Koza of Phoenix, two grandchildren, sister Donna Thompson of Lyman, Nebraska, sister in law Jerri "Koza of Torrington, Wyoming, and several nieces and nephews.
