Bio

The son of Milt Embree and Lenal Perkins, both born in Randolph County, Missouri, according to his death certificate which was signed by his wife. -------------------------------------------------------- Thanks to Tom Waters for the following: GEORGE E. EMBREE DIES AT HIS HOME EAST OF MOBERLY George E. Embree, 70, died at 11:50 o'clock this morning at his home east of Moberly, where he had lived almost all his life. Born in Kansas, Mr. Embree came to Missouri when he was 3 years old. He is survived by his wife, the former Miss Bessie McCartney; a daughter, Mrs. S. M. Ball, near Moberly; a son, Oscar Embree of the home; a grandson Donald Eugene Embree; and a sister, Mrs. Dudley Vanvlect, Hannibal. The body is in the Snow Funeral Home, where services will be held at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon. Burial will be in Oakland cemetery.
