MRS. MILTON EMBREE ENTERED INTO REST Funeral of Highly Esteemed Woman Was Held This Afternoon From Martin & Malian Parlors. Mrs. Permelia Carlina Embree, 70 years old, the beloved wife of Milton Embree, died in the family home at 911 South Clark street at 11:50 o'clock Saturday Night. Besides the husband the surviving relatives are one daughter, Mrs. D.B. Van Vleet and one son, Eugene Embree, both of the vicinity of Moberly; one brother William Perkins of Tuscaloosa, Alabama and five grandchildren. Mrs. Embree was a devoted wife, mother and sister and a woman of unusual strength of character since she was a cripple from early childhood, being compelled to spend her life in a wheel chair. In spite of such a handicap she was a good housekeeper and homemaker for her loved ones. The funeral was conducted by Rev. W.T. Henson, in the Martin & Malian funeral parlors at 2:30 o'clock this afternoon. The burial will be deferred until the completion of a vault in Oakland Cemetery.
