Pleasant Cemetery, Sioux Falls, SD INTERMENT Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Sioux Falls, SD Sioux Falls - Milre (Wehling / Wills) Brainard, of Sioux Falls, died Thursday, May 7, 2009 at the Good Samaritan Village. She was born May 25, 1918 in Sioux Falls to Hattie and Fred Wehling. A visitation will be 4:00 PM Tuesday, May 12, 2009 at George Boom Funeral Home in Sioux Falls with the family present from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A graveside service will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, May, 13, 2009 at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Sioux Falls. Milre was one of the Founding Members of the Sioux Falls Grandmother Girl Scout Troup and was active for 77 years in Girl Scouting. She was also a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. Milre is survived by her husband, Donald D. Brainard of Sioux Falls; daughter, Ronda, and son-in-law, Jerry Bauman of Austin, TX; granddaughter, Meg Bauman of Fort Worth, TX; sister-in-law, Anna Wehling of Carson City, NV; and nephews, Fred Wehling of Marina, CA and James Wills of Rochester, MN. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Bob Wehling; and first husband, Faye E. Wills.
