First marriage to Louie Andrews in McKinney Texas. Louie died in 1919. They had two children Wille Fay who passed away in May 1916. Edith Elvie who was born in July 1916 and died in June of 2002 Second marriage to Ruby May Rice, half sister of Louie Andrews. They had eight childen David Lee Hackney Gist, 1919-2005, Earl Lee 1923-1996, Roger Franklin 1925 - , Walter B `1926- , John Edgar 1929 - . Lena Pearl 1931, Betty June 1933, Bob Gene 1936
