William Earl Butler, 85, New Pine Creek, died at his home Tuesday. he was born Dec. 26, 1896 in New Pine Creek. his parents were Walter Butler and Annie Gallagher Butler. Mr. Butler was married Oct 9, 1915, in Alturas to Thelma Ruth Taylore. She died Aug. 24, 1974. He was a Christian of Truth and Faith, a member of the East Side Grange and Modern Woodman. Mr. Butler was a famer in the New Pine Creek area. Survivors include a son, Kenneth Butler, New Pine Creek; daughters, Elma Branch, Paisley, and Joy Mahan, Martinez, Calif.; brother, Marvi Butler, Laekview; sister, Ruth LAwson, New Pine Creek, six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Herald and News Klamath Falls, Oregon June 10, 1982
