Frank Francis Wolfe Frank Francis Wolfe was born on September 5 1872 in Detroit, Michigan and departed this life on June 9, 1939 at the age of 66 years, 9 months and 4 days. When but two years of age he moved with his parents to Clay County, Nebraska, locating on a farm six miles southwest of Clay Center, where he grew to manhood. In the year 1899, on January 17 he was united in marriage with Anastazia Malek of Crete, Nebr. Following the wedding they moved to his farm two miles south of Clay Center to make their future home, and where they have resided to the time of his departure. To this union was born four daughters. When his health began to fail him in 1930, he retired from active farming. He leaves to mourn his departure, his wife, Mrs. Anastazia Wolfe, and four daughters: Mrs. George Werner of Clay Center, Mrs. Ed Vickerson of Manitou Springs, Colorado, Mrs. Dillon Furman of Hastings and Miss Frances Wolfe of Clay Center. Seven grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Anna Zdychnec of Hastings and Mrs. Nellie Kavalac of Omaha; five brothers, Albert, Henry and Ben all of Clay Center, George of Harvard and Adolph of Brainard. One sister and one brother preceded him in death. Mary passing away in infancy and William of Fairfield, whose passing has been very recent. Source: Clay County Sun June 15, 1939
