Graveside services for Tannie Frances Ivey Gandy, 85, Nacogdoches, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday at Oak Grove Cemetery with the Rev. Gary Hill officiating under direction of Cason Monk-Metcalf Funeral Director, Nacogdoches. Mrs. Gandy died May 25, 2006, in Nacogdoches. She was born June 19, 1920 in Nacogdoches to Ellis and Anna Henderson Ivy. She graduated from Nacogdoches High School and attended Stephen F Austin State College, where she was member of the Pine Burrs. She was a charter member of Heritage Club, a member of Christ Episcopal Church, Coffee Drinker's Club and a life member of Nacogdoches High School Alumi Association. She was preceded in death by sister, Margie Dillard. Survivors include her husband Dr. Sam W. Gandy, Nacogdoches, son, Dr. William E. Gandy, Nacogdoches; two granddaughter, and several cousins. Memorials may be made to Christ Episcopal Day School, 502 E. Starr, Nacogdoches, 75961; or a charity of one's choice.
