Evelyn M. Reandeau, 99 years, of Hooper died Thursday June 21, 2012 at Hooper Care Center in Hooper. She was born September 27, 1912 in Pilger to William and Bertha Reinhold. She married Simon Reandeau on October 1, 1930 in Fremont. He died in 1994. For 39 years she served as a custodian for OPPD. She also spent time as a secretary for Dr. M.G. Watchorn and water clerk for the Hooper Water Department. She was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Hooper, St, Rose Guild, Hooper Community Council and was a Cub Scout den mother. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; sons James Reandeau, Walter Reandeau; brother Francis Reinhold; and sisters Leitha Utt and Dorothy Trewett. She is survived by son, Dale (Betty) Reandeau of Fremont; daughter Rosemary (Charles) Forsberg of Mondamin, IA; brother, Donald Reinhold of Lincoln; daughters-in-law Sandra Reandeau of Rochester, NY, Patricia Reandeau of Green Valley, AZ, 15 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. A Memorial Mass will be Saturday, June 30, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Hooper. Burial will be at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery in Hooper. There is no visitation. Memorials are suggested to St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church and Hooper Rescue Fire Department.
