Wife of Henry Waller May, Daughter of William L. Bailey & Martha Ida (Toal) Bailey Obituary The Corsicana Daily Sun Friday, Nov 1, 1957 Mrs. H. W. May Services Friday Final rites for Mrs. H. W. May, 75, long-time resident of Emmett, 300 East Eleventh Avenue, who died in Memorial Hospital Wednesday night, will be held from the Corley Chapel Friday at 3:30 p.m. The services will be conducted by Rev. B. Thomas Tribble, pastor of the Central Methodist church. Burial will be in the Emmett cemetery. She is the wife of Henry W. May. She was born to William L. Bailey and Martha Ida (Toal) Bailey Oct 22, 1882 in Mississippi. She died Oct 30, 1957 in Corsicana, Navarro Co., Texas. Surviving are her husband, H. W. May, Corsicana; seven sons, A. R. May, El Paso; Claude and Clyde May, both of Odessa; Clarence May, Waco; W. O. and E. V. May, both of Corsicana, and K. A. May, Trinidad; two daughters, Mrs. W. H. Henderson, Fort Worth, and Mrs. Evelyn Lawhenare, Galveston; a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and three sisters, Mrs. J. C. Price, Corsicana; Mrs. Delia Bailey, Hubbard, and Mrs. Mittie Littlejohn, Houston, and other relatives.
