Fremont Tribune Dec 9 1976 Koplin Obit Services will be 10 am Saturday at Ludvigsen Mortuary for Hartwig C. Koplin, 90, 225 Boulevard St. The Rev. Dr. L R Daivs of the First Methodist Church will officiate. Koplin died this morning at the local hospital. He was born Jan 17, 1886 at Scribner where he was raised and graduated from High school. He opened a radiator repair shop in Fremont in 1917. He was a member of First Methodist Church and Fremont Masonic Lodge. He married former Nellie Bishop Jan 17, 1932 at Hooper. She survives. Other survivors include sons: Duane of Fremont, Elwvin of Boulder, Colo., Eugene of Omaha: daughter, Mrs. James (Darlene) O'Neal of Perry, Ga, step daughter Mrs. Donna Holtz of Fremont, 9 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, sisters Irma Farrell of Fremont and Etta Wagner of San Jose, Ca; and a brother Arno Koplin of Barnett, Mo. Visitation begins 1pm Friday at the mortuary. Fremont Masonic Lodge 15 A.F. & A.M will conduct Masonic services. A memorial has been established to First Methodist Church. Burial will be in Memorial Cemetery.
