HORTON, Mrs. Phila Mae, age 77, 129 N. Polk, died Wednesday. Born in Illinois. Resided in Dallas 17 years. Survived by one daughter, Mrs. Bessie Sarr, Eden, Tex.; six sons, W. H. Horton, Hollie, Lowell, Herman, all of Dallas; Ray Horton, Temple, Tex.; Walter Horton, Bartlett, Tex.; twenty-one grandchildren; two brothers, Frank and Scott Warden, Joplin, Mo. Services Friday 2 p. m., Oak Cliff Church of Christ, Rev. Coleman Overby officiating. Interment Laurel Land Cemetery. Arrangements Guardian Funeral Home. September 2, 1938, Dallas Daily Times Herald, Sec. IV, p. 6, col. 2.
