RITES TODAY FOR MRS. PATTERSON Funeral services for Mrs. Harold Patterson, 63, former Red Oak resident, were held today at Sellergren Funeral Home with the Rev. Carl E. Renander officiating and burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Mrs. Patterson died Monday, April 8, at Norfolk, Nebraska, where she had lived since 1944. She was born May 12, 1903 at Montclair, New Jersey and was married in 1926 to Harold Patterson, who survives at Norfolk. Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Patricia Beckenhauer of Ainsworth, Nebraska dn Mrs. Sandra Haase, Omaha; 4 grandchildren. Red Oak Express, Red Oak, Iowa, Thursday, April 11, 1968, page 6 Edna Mae Swanson, daughter of Edna Carlotta Swanson, was born May 12, 1903 in Montclair, New Jersey and died April 8, 1968 in Norfolk, Madison, Nebraska. She married Harold LeRoy Patterson on May 1, 1926 in Red Oak, Iowa. Survivors include her husband, Harold, two daughters Sandra Spike of Silver Creek, Nebraska and Patricia Beckenhauer of Columbus, Nebraska; four grandchildren; five great grandchildren; Harold LeRoy Patterson, 24, son of Samuel Patterson and Harriett Palmer, was married on May 1, 1926 in Red Oak, Iowa to Edna Mae Swanson, daughter of Anna Mathilda Swanson. No father listed. She was raised by her grandfather, Peter John Swanson. He is now deceased. They were married by L. L. Weis, Methodist Minister. Witnesses were Vivian and Russel Nelson.
