Gregory Ellis Waters, 60, of Buffalo passed away Tuesday, July 22, 2009 in Bryan, TX. Gregory was born in Harris Co. TX to Cecil Maurice and Rita Mae Weaver Waters. He served his country in Viet Nam in the U.S. Army. He had lived in Houston, TX before moving to Buffalo fifteen years ago. He formerly worked for Gray Tool Co. as a machine rebuilder mechanic in Houston. Preceding him in death are his parents, Cecil and Rita Waters and a brother, Gary Archie Waters. Survivors include his son, Steven Blake Waters of Dayton, TX; daughters, Rebecca "Becky" Ann Foster of Dayton, TX and Samantha Ann Waters; brother, Kenneth Maurice (Sherry) Waters of Franklin, TX; grandchildren, Brittany Marie Waters, Jeremy William Benoit, Megan Elizabeth Benoit; several nieces and nephews. Graveside funeral services are set for 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 24, 2009 at the Brushy Cemetery near Buffalo. Carol Walters will officiate the services. Walters Buffalo Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
