LILLIAN A. CONDEL SHINER — Lillian A. Konecny Condel, 84, of Shiner, died Thursday, Dec. 21, 2006 at Lavaca Medical Center. She was born Sept. 23, 1922, in Shiner. She was a homemaker and a Catholic. Survivors: daughters, Barbara and Eugene Pokluda of Shiner, Carol and Howard Drabek of Victoria. Debbie and Ray Turk of Shiner; sons, David and Debbie Condel, Douglas and Jo Beth Condel, all of Shiner; 14 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by: husband, Emil F. Condel: brothers, Edwin Konecny, Bill Konecny, and Felix Konecny. A rosary will be recited 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Ss. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church. Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church, Father Bob Knippenberg officiating, with burial at Shiner Catholic Cemetery. Buffington Funeral Home, Shiner, 361-594-3352. Pallbearers: Chris Drabek, Jason Condel, Kyle Condel, David Pokluda, Russell Blaschke, Brian Wenske. Honorary pallbearers will be her grandchildren.
