Obituary Gonzales Inquirer Apr. 26 1996 Funeral services were held Tuesday for William R. (Bill) Konecny who died Saturday, April 20 in a local nursing home. He was born August 14, 1915 at Dryer to Felix and Emily Ermis Konecny of DeWitt and Gonzales Counties respectively. Mr. Konecny was co-owner of a service station, member of St. James Catholic Church and a life member of the Knights of Columbus. The Rev. Jim Kotara officiated at the services with interment at St. James Catholic Cemetery under direction of Seydler-Hill Funeral Home.
