Joseph Freis Sr. son of Anton and Thekla Freis.Joseph Freis married Pauline Kainer in 1904. Joe was born in the Sedan Community and a lifelong resident of the Weimar area.He was a retired farmer. Mr.Freis passed away at Youens Hospital after an illness of two months. Funeral services were held for Joseph Freis Sr.,75,Thursday February 2,1956 at Hubbard Funeral Home and St.Michael's Catholic Church Msgr.A.F. Drozd officiated. Pallbearers were Frank Freis Jr.,Edwin Berger,Gilbert Kainer,Johnnie Freis,Henry Heger and Edmund Kainer.
