* OBIT: MARY SCHOENER KLEIBER Mrs. Mary Schoener Kleiber, 81, of Rt. 2, Lone Tree Rd., died at 8:45 a.m. Wednesday in a local nursing home following an illness of about two years. She was born on Feb. 7, 1885, in High Hill, Fayette County, to the late Joseph Schoener and Vernonica Lenhardt Schoener. Her husband, Joe Kleiber, preceded her in death on January 11, 1958. Mrs Kleiber came to Victoria in 1914, moving here from Lavaca County. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. A rosary will be recited at McCabe-Carruth Funeral home Chapel at 8 p.m. thursday. Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Friday at McCabe-Carruth Chapel and at 9:15 a.m. from Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with the Rev. David Mourer officiating. Burial will be in Catholic Cemetery #03. Survivors include seven {7} daughters, Mrs. Annie Heibel, Mrs. Robert Mueller, Mrs. John Huber and Mrs. Willie Kutchka all of Victoria, Mrs. Nathan Post of Cucro, Mrs. Ben Henicke of George West, and Mrs. R.A. Bone, Corpus Christi; two {2} sons, Frank and Adolph, both of Victoria; two {2} sisters, Mrs. Frank Berger of Schulenburg and Mrs. Charlie Schaper of Humble; two {2} brothers, Charles Schoener of Victoria and Adolph Schoener of Schulenburg. *Victoria Newspaper
